Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Agmma at the headquarters of the Círculo de Empresarios. It was attended by the delegate of the Vigo Free Zone, David Regades; the first deputy mayor of Vigo, Elena Espinosa and the head of Igape's South Offices, Miguel Fidalgo.

• The Galician Association of Mold Makers, Die Makers and Related Workers (AGMMA) is made up of companies from all over Galicia that are dedicated to the design, construction of molds, dies, machining and tooling. It is a little-known industrial activity that, however, requires high investments in machinery and equipment, permanent introduction to new technologies, highly qualified personnel and great flexibility to accommodate customer demands. The companies belonging to the association have a productive capacity of 600,000 working hours, billing about 50 million euros annually and employing a total of 500 workers.

• The association tries to solve the problems that affect the sector and works with special interest in the training of workers, in the R&D&i of their companies and in exports. .

•  During his speech, the president of AGMMA, Carlos Alves emphasized the importance of the molds and dies sector in the value chain of companies, since it constitutes the beginning of them in strategic sectors of the Galician manufacturing industry. Thus, he gave Stellantis as an example. “Let me tell you that, without the work of our sector, your daily life would be unviable,” he stated. 

• The event also served to honor the former presidents of the association who have worked for the sector in the last 20 years.
